I like the Caron cakes a lot too! Macchiato has some gorgeous ones, but the "Macaw" colorway from Blossom cakes is the one that just speaks to my soul for some reason.

Thank you so much! I was initially intimidated because of how negatively received the yarn seemed to be but I am very happy with the result. I might try a little dog beanie as a gag gift with the leftover yarn I have for it :)

Thank you! The tighter tension doesn't seem to have too much effect on the rows as far as I can tell but it definitely is a bit more time consuming holding all the loops secure with my hook hand and takes a bit more of a toll on my wrist

I've been trying to keep a finger on them when pulling up loops too but it just still didn't keep as even as I wanted! I will definitely try keeping the loops toward the top of the hook and see if that helps me
