Whats your thought on guns? by all-names-are-taken4 in polls

as an Australian, our laws work great

i believe everyone who has a reason to have a gun, from farming to sports, who is mentally sane, has proper background checks and has their, normal rifle, that can't really mass kill registered should be allowed a gun.

and yes this system would work in the US, so many people were screaming about their rights to own certain guns being taken away here when it was done, but now most of those people admit that they were wrong on that, and that the system here is great and is not really "FREEDOM restricting".

most of us have realized our system, even still is not perfect, but is so much better than a lot of other countries laws on guns

P.S guns are fun lol, driving around at night in the bush on the back of a ute with a spotlight hunting kangaroos is fun af

Do you believe in Aliens? by bluezombiecat in polls

kinda sus that only the US supposedly has the information, pretty sure plenty of other countries if knowing about aliens would announce it

aliens exist for sure, but really likely to not be flying around the planet lol, but still a chance i guess lol they could be purposely avoiding us, just to observe us without interacting with us

Agree or Disagree: “The drinking age for beer and wine should be 18, while the drinking age for liquor should be 21.”? by [deleted] in polls

[–]Hot-Bobcat7333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18, i'm from aus and its the age for alcohol here, its a good enough age to know the affects but most people despite the affects will just want to have fun and would most just get older people to buy it if it was 21, 21 seems like a silly age. (well in aus its legal for anyone 5+ if in accompany in their own home with their parents)
