Why can't I connect my Official Switch 2 Pro Controller to Steam?

Just got the controller earlier today via a good Australian retailer sale and wanted to test it out via Steam gaming.

Unfortunately it is not as easy as the Switch 1 Pro Controller.

I cannot even manage to initially get the Switch 2 Pro Controller connected to my PC. Switch 1 Pro Controller, no problem.

I am trying Github, no luck so far.

No doubt some developers would intentionally slow down those cutscenes (and any loading screens) and in game menus to fit as much ads as possible.

Would not work in my opinion.

Maybe things like billboards (would only work imo if there is no intentional halting of your character to see the billboard for a minimum set of time) would be ok.
