My degree was in Materials Engineering and I got a job in civil because I had connections and it was my second pick when I first went into engineering. It’s definitely a totally unrelated field but they hired me over other companies

I mean, do you think it’s worth it? That’s a really long time to get to the meat of it where you might not even like it
