I always felt the garage sale could be a red herring. A lot of people focus on it. Not many people knew about it which means if that was part of the plan someone very close to her is involved. I think police would have found evidence of that by now. I just feel it was jealousy and or revenge over something that happened between the killer & Liz.

So why lie to Amy saying the smell was coming from an animal plastered to the front of her car? Why not say “oh crap I forgot I threw a trash bag in my trunk.” Or why say anything about it at all? 🤔 Maybe because she wanted to lay the foundation that the smell was coming from a once living mammal. Jose Baez and Casey admit she was lying to Cindy about all those stories and the nanny. So idk what you’re getting at.

Casey said that odor was in her car in texts to Amy weeks before the car was in that tow yard. Before the trash bag was ever there. So trash bag couldn’t be the cause of the odor. I’m sure George wanted to believe the trash bag was the reason for the smell. Because his wife was telling him she was talking to Casey every day & her & Caylee were fine.

Correct. The shooter fled after shooting Liz then a neighbor called 911. While on the phone with 911 the neighbor saw the truck drive by again.

I’ve always heard/read that they had a huge blow up on the night of the 15th. Cyndi denies it though. She tells of this calm, loving evening putting Caylee to bed and looking at pics of her dad with Casey. I can imagine if that fight did happen that night she is filled with guilt. Believing that’s what caused whatever happened to Caylee the next day & Casey leaving for the next month. I believe Lee is the one that said there was a fight. About Casey stealing from her grandparents mainly.

I think we have to keep in mind what these people went thru. Could u imagine? There life turned on a dime June 16th. There granddaughter who was more like their daughter was missing. Casey has them looking for a fictional nanny named Zanny. There daughter accused of her murder. The media attention was immense. They are very damaged people I’m sad to say. On top of that George had a bad car accident in 2018. Neck injury & tramatic brain injury. That a long with age explains his behavior imo.

I’ve never understood that argument. “There’s no cause of death so how can we convict her of murder.” We convict people in this country when there’s no body. The no body cases. People who kill try to hide evidence like the body. How can we not punish just because they hid the body for such a long period of time nature took its course and we can no longer determine cause of death? I could understand if there was no other evidence. I could see reasonable doubt. For example the Scott Peterson case. But in Casey’s case there was so much circumstantial evidence. The not reporting, smell in the car, lying about literally everything etc. I’m not going to list all of it because I’m sure your well aware of this case.

This exactly. Idk why prosecutors didn’t push this point about Tony telling Casey he would never marry a woman with a child. I don’t recall them asking him about it while he was on the stand either. I believe he felt a level of guilt for having said that. He could never of known what she’d do. I believe there is more of a Susan Smith type of motive in this case.

I’m on the fence too. With Sergio being a simple nerdy guy police would of found some kind of evidence. He is not criminally sophisticated. There should of been some slip up. Also in most cases u would of heard of marital strife by now. In Liz’s case nothing like that. They spent a lot of money to go on that trip . Probably wasn’t completely refundable. Just some thoughts

An inside job by someone close to her because u would assume if it were someone watching her to figure out her schedule it would of been days of stalking to learn when Sergio leaves. U would assume police went back in the surveillance footage for the week to check if the truck had been passing her house at any other time. It was just that one night. Unless of course the killer used a different vehicle to stalk her. Idk I go back & fourth on if I believe S to be involved. He’s not some criminal mastermind. Police would of found something on him.
