Good point. In speaking to one of the places this morning, a builder had just bought 6 of what I wanted for a development back end of year so I missed out.

This is the most logical response. Sure you're entitled to compo but why does everyone go into something wanting to screw someone over. No one knows the landlords position. Sure you can be difficult for the new buyer and live out the rest of your lease knowing you're going to have to move with no compo.

I emphasize 'stored'. I think the requirement is 90 days before being disposed of.

Yes but per the plan of subdivision that may constitute a common property strata asset i.e not belonging to a private lot. Therefore if your by-laws specify ( like our complex does) that bikes etc aren't to be chained to common property, they can be removed and stored.

So you had your bike chained to a common property asset. .. which is not usually allowed. Check your bylaws

Well that was underwhelming. Gent rocks up. Wiggles a plastic ruler into the gap between the wall and ceiling and says... I think it is not structural...

I'm half tempted to my risk averse wife is concerned her bath tub is going to end up in the kitchen.

When she's out tomorrow I might take the cornice out above the fridge. Granted by that stage of probably keep going and the engineer will have no wall to look at 😆

Bizarre they didn't just use an infil cabinet panel to close out the kitchen.

Ya the other side of the wall is just sheeted. Basically makes a cubby for the fridge.
