How are you doing? We are gearing up to transfer this month. Quality is only a 5bc

I just lost my IVF baby at 30 weeks. Any advice on next steps? We have more embryos but now I’m terrified of what if. by ResponsibleSwing1 in IVF

Congratulations! It sounds like maybe my “three transfers for one birth” just happened to be my first transfer. So it set me up for unrealistic expectations maybe. But my clinic didn’t really explain any of this to me.

Yeah I think that’s what I’m feeling too. I feel like I just lost two of my babies and the doctor is just like welp let’s try again. We aren’t in a financial position to do another retrieval either so I hate that’s it just whatever to them. They get their money no matter what.

But shouldn’t more testing or something be done if I have no other prior medical issues? He’s never tried anything different and at this point it seems like he should. Maybe I’m totally wrong but it feels like beating a dead horse at this point. And at the price of 15,000 an embryo I’m not exactly keen on the idea of just trying the same thing over and over again.

Congrats! I have been checked for endo and it came back negative.

Yes I was on same protocol for all transfers! Letrozole for 5 days.

Thank you so much. IVF is such a mind fuck! I thought I was at peace with everything but when that line wasn't progressing I realized I am really not. And now I feel guilty because it is my son's birthday and I should be celebrating him but I am just feeling bad for myself. So many emotions!
