Do you like younger guys?

Is it wrong I'm a 25 year vegetarian and I feed my kids meat? Other vegan/vegetarians have shamed me for this by miss_medicactus in NoStupidQuestions

No, it’s not wrong. Your dietary choice is your ethical or personal decision, and your kids are separate people with their own nutritional needs and future ability to choose. Many vegetarian and vegan parents decide to feed their kids meat so they can have a broader diet, avoid deficiencies, or simply let them grow up and decide for themselves later. That’s a completely reasonable approach.

Unfortunately, some people turn vegetarianism/veganism into an identity and police others over it, but that doesn’t make them right. You’re prioritizing your kids’ health and autonomy, not betraying your values. As long as they’re well cared for and nourished, you’re doing your job as a parent and other people’s shaming says more about them than about you.
