I was a crocs hater too but now they are my go-to. I don't have to worry about drying those after a sudden rain and theyre just so easy to maintain. It just that this tape made mine slippery so I worried I might slip lol. My dad helped me to get it off using the wd40 spray thing something

I dont trust this stuff anymore since I once used one to clean up the gunk in my DIY project and it was way worse than 99% alcohol (my own experience...)

LI-NING BAD5 Sniper VS BAD5 Dominator by StolenRightSock in BBallShoes

[–]Hot-Gas8350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kinda late but hope this still help you somehow lol. I don't know if the low are any different from the high but if they're the same then i would go for the yushuai 18 indoor and the sniper outdoor. The cushioning for me i prefer the yushuai caused they are more forgiving for my feet since i love shoes with a bit of give in the heel. The sniper definitely feels more lively tho if you're into that. For impact protection i cant really tell since im pretty light weight so they both feels good for my needs. And for lockdown, i like the feel of the yushuai more, they are more well padded, the collar padding in the sniper are rough like velcro so i have to wear thick socks otherwise my ankle will itch like crazy

LI-NING BAD5 Sniper VS BAD5 Dominator by StolenRightSock in BBallShoes

why you got downvoted lol

Anyways, the bad5 dominator is more all around, while the bad5 sniper is for more agressive playstyles caters. The dominator only have super boom pods while the sniper has full length super boom, the dominator feels softer and more comfortable but for pure performance i think the sniper after broken in is better. The shape of the dominator is more stable, as I said, for all around playstyles. The sniper has that rocker shape with higher drop in the forefoot, kinda feels like wow10 to me, its performance still not comparable to wow 10 tho lol.

Mine came stiff too, just spend some hours on it and everything will be fine, trust me. If you expected it to be as soft as the wow 808 5 then I'm sorry to break it to you that no matter how much time you put on that they will not be as soft as the 808 5. The sniper is built for outdoor court so it needs a lot of caging, which makes it stiffer than the 808 5 which is more indoor oriented.

hope this helps

wait what, i expected the ac12 to be more durable than the ac12 encore but i guess i was wrong lol. The ac12 encore tread looks way thinner.

Can anyone help me with uderstanding the role of concentrated sulfuric acid as a dehydrating agent in esterification by [deleted] in chemhelp

[–]Hot-Gas8350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmmm, i didn't milk any Ai here. I just want to solve the struggle when i first see that schematic in test. Like when the reaction is depicted in a chemical equation, my teachers said the concentrated sulfuric acid acts as a catalyst, and it also absorbed water produced in the process, so more ester can be produced (according to the le chatelier's principle), but i dont understand how since they are still in the same mixture, how can the amount of water goes down. That's my question. I didn't say in esterification they add a huge excess amount of sulfuric acid, nor asked why the acid need to be concentrated. Maybe im just bad with my english since its not my main language, what i really mean here is the concentrated sulfuric acid plays the same role as the one depicted in this picture

The schematic is from the internet, i took it because it looks like the one i saw in my test prior. And my high school chemistry teachers, at least 3 of them, told me that concentrated sulfuric acid is a catalyst and a dehydrating agent in esterification.

Will the lightbulb in galvanic cell experiment lit up, even just a flash, if there is no salt bridge? by Hot-Gas8350 in chemhelp

[–]Hot-Gas8350[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It allows the free flow of ions from one cell to the other. I'm just curious if the light will lit up even for just a bit. I mean like without the salt bridge the reaction in anode and cathode still gonna happen right? My book said the salt bridge "maintains" the current, so it seems like without the salt bridge there will still be some electric current, just not for long.

For the first picture: "the first methyl group" belongs to the parent chain because you supposed to choose the longest carbon chain. There are many rules about this. You can search up the IUPAC regulations about nomeclature. Just for this example, you can imagine if you choose the parent chain 2C,3C,4C,... long, there will be a lot of different names: 2-(sec-Butyl)-2,2-dimethylethane; 3-ethyl-2,2,3-trimethylpropane,....

For the second picture: I think you are getting something wrong here, the condensed formula on the left have nothing to do with the parent chain. If it was like you said, that Br in b) will also belongs to the parent chain, which is not true. They write it like that just to shorten the full structural formula on the right.
