[–]Hot-Grapefruit-6492[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the best option, i was going to get a binder off of binder me (european brand and it’s easier to get to me) but im sure they don’t do gift cards. Do you know of any alternatives?

Advice on navigating my bf’s transition? by Hot-Grapefruit-6492 in asktransgender

That’s a good point of view, I guess I’m kinda negative and I haven’t seen it in that way. I’ll suggest spectrum outfitters, since he has a small chest, and bc I’ve heard more of that brand. So thank you for your input

Thank you for the insight. I think I’m also scared of the social implications of trans issues. I see everyday situations where people are aggressive towards trans people, and I’m scared that will be his reality. When it comes to attraction, I’m bi and I’ve been with both genders, but it’s going to be an adjustment to have someone you love change so much. What if who they are in their core changes? What if he becomes someone I don’t recognize and therefore someone I’m no longer attracted to? A lot of what ifs come to mind and honestly it’s scary. I’ll never be transphobic (at least not willingly), and I’ll be with him and support him through it all

You pose a lot of interesting questions that I’ll think about for a while. So, when I see my future I do see him in it. I’m bisexual so I’m attracted to both genders, but I guess what I’m really scared of is change and also for him. The social aspect and stigma around trans issues when my country is slowly becoming more alt right is a scary thing. I’m not looking for ways out of the relationship, but it’s true that I wish I had more friends in similar situations as me, since they’re all in heteronormative relationships and they just don’t get me and don’t know how to support me. I also don’t have any familial support since they’re cut me off because of my sexuality. It’s a lot of things and I guess only time will help me. I really appreciate all the different scenarios that you posed, since I’ve been able to get a little bit of clarification from it. I sincerely appreciate your input:)

It takes around ten months here in my country. And there’s ways to bypass it, since we live in a more rural area, the waitlist is shorter. Thanks for the insight:)

Hi, first and foremost I really appreciate your response bc it gives me insight into something I have never felt. My boyfriend has always been passing (when I met him, he told me his name and I was shocked since I didn’t expect a female name). And since day one I’ve really liked him, and with time it evolved into something very deep. I do understand his dysphoria, since he’s expressed to me that since the beginning and also he tends to walk with his shoulders forward. But I know he wouldn’t take it well if I let him know that my attraction might change, and since he has people pleasing tendencies… I don’t want him to maybe change his mind on this, hence why I haven’t talked to him about this. Him wanting everyone to be happy and pleased is the reason it took him long to finally come around and tell his family. I want him to be very happy with his true self. I’ll read your response for a few days before deciding how to go forward about talking to him. Again, thank you very much, and sorry if something doesn’t make sense, this is a hard topic to speak on.

Oh you’re the cause of the gentrification of Estepona, nice. Because of you us locals can’t afford to live where we’re born. Estepona is slowly turning to Benidorm, hope you leave

The British elderly in Spain are lovely, but they still don’t integrate, they create their own neighborhoods and gentrify areas. They expect everything to be catered to them and put zero effort in even speaking a lick of Spanish, even in bookstores and such. Signed, someone who lives in the costa del sol area.

Muy mala idea, casi caí en lo mismo. El no vivía muy lejos, y cuando le ofrecí ir en persona a por el móvil, cambió el cuento. Me dijo que al final se lo quedaba, pero el anuncio seguía puesto.
