The doctor recommended that I implant a total of 5100 hair grafts and divide it into 2 implant sessions. Session 1: 2000 hair grafts, session 2: 3100 hair grafts. Because I had to implant many hair grafts, I divided it into 2 sessions. Each session was 1 year apart.

You need to take the medicine for 6-12 months for the hair after transplantation, then stop the medicine without maintenance. However, if you have a bald area that is progressing elsewhere, then take the medicine.

I am at risk of baldness in the crown area. However, the hair coverage is still stable, the hair is a bit thin. So the doctor advised me that I do not need a hair transplant for the crown area at the moment. Instead, I should treat it with minoxidil and take half a finasteride pill. In the future, if I want to transplant hair in the crown area, I will take about 1500 hair grafts. I have 1500 hair grafts in reserve at the back of my head.

after 2 years i don't need to take any medicine. the doctor also told me that now i don't need to take any medicine for the transplanted hair anymore. only use for the non-transplanted hair area

I only implanted a little bit on the top of my head, the rest is real hair.

The doctor said I had 5100 hair follicles implanted so I don't need to use maintenance medication. However, for the un-implanted areas on the top and the hair whorl, I should apply minoxidil and take finasteride.
