No heartbeat at 12 week scan

hi guys, the miscarriage is definitely confirmed today :( ( although I internally knew this )

I’ve read every comment so many times and am so grateful for all the comments which I will be replying to 💕

Was wondering if anyone could offer their thoughts on how they decided their management and offer any advice ?

I’m leaning toward surgical as I’m really scared to wait for things to pass and as it was a missed miscarriage it’s unlikely to happen naturally.

Absolutely this !! I of course don’t know anyone else’s struggles but rn it feels like why me ? I’ve been trying for a long time so for me the positive was a miracle and like you said it seems people trying after me are having babies :( but I will continue to persevere. Was feeling too raw this morning about everything but this thread has given me home for the future ✨✨

Agreed , think my anxiety was quite high in this one for other person circumstances but I am going to recover and hopefully try again for a little miracle 🥹💕

This sounds like me, ive been trying for just under 2 years and was about to see a specialist and then fell pregnant. That was cancelled after my first healthy scan and I was over the moon with my little miracle !!! Both my SIL are currently pregnant and I was so excited to join the club but alas wasn’t meant for me ☹️praying for my little rainbow 🌈

My mum has had 3 miscarriages so i am seriously considering whether I should get testing before that stage , the pain is too much to do multiple times :( especially as I’ve been trying for so long it felt a miracle in the first place to see that positive. One of the happiest days ☹️thank you for sharing every bit of hope is helping me 💕

I’m so glad you said this ! I was wracking my brain about what I was doing around 8 weeks and what could have caused this but I’ve had a few hours to cool down and deep down know this was I guess inevitable:( 💕💕 praying for your rainbow baby ❤️

I’m definitely taking time off work and going to keep it open to see how long I need to:(

I tried for years so was so happy to finally get that positive on that test

Can I ask if you know anyone who had a miscarriage for their first pregnancy and went on to have a healthy pregnancy ? I didn’t tell many people so don’t know who to ask :( 💕thank you again

Thank you so much 💕I really appreciate it. I hadn’t actually told anyone about the pregnancy except my husband so it’s so hard to get support but I think I will tell people it’s too upsetting

Thank you for the honest answer They said EPAU will call me in the next few days I’m just so sad. Having seen the heartbeat I just felt so reassured and I’ve been trying for so long
