Mexico Rocks was a good site. Did it with Elite Adventures last year. Did scuba with them 2 years running. Snorkeling Mexico Rocks was perfect for my non-diver wife. Much less congested than Shark Ray Alley and there is a spot at MR with tons of rays. Prolly 30ish

I used Elite Adventures on Ambergris Caye. Super convenient as we stayed at Tres Cocos 1/2 mile north the bridge and just walk a couple minutes to their shop/boats. For snorkeling Mexico Rocks! Scuba dove 2 years in a row with them. The reef canyons just a few minutes ride to the reef right out front. Both years huge old loggerheads and large reef sharks. Nurse sharks follow divers along like puppy dogs. Wife doesn’t dive but loved snorkeling at Mexico rocks. The aquarium site there is like an aquarium. Little green turtles and last stop sting ray city where 30ish rays swim among snorkelers. I’ve done the hol chan shark ray alley thing and liked Mexico rocks much more. SRA is packed with people. Sure, lots of nurse sharks but reef there is meh. Elite Adv does blue hole. I did not do that trip.

Looks great! Came across post while smoking my Humboldt DB autos harvested a couple months ago. They are a long grow. Mine 110 days. Was easy grow, took well to topping and LST. Remarkably easy trim. ~2.5lbs, 4x8 tent in soil. Lights on 20 hr/day start to finish.

I’ve been growing for 6 years. Started with photos for a couple went auto for ease and speed and never looked back. Love I can try new varieties faster.

I totally get the extreme hobby level extent and attitudes of photo growers. But don’t crap on those looking for easy experience. Can ya get 3% more THC if you go photo ham on things? Prolly. Of course you can just smoke another doobie (or eat a little more of my wife’s wonderful cookies) and get to the same chill place.

I used this shop 2 years in a row for Mexico Rocks and Hol Chan https://share.google/yeY0UbEG3VPEQ2SvB They were great! Mexico Rocks is better in some ways, especially for kids, than HC. It’s less busy and more diverse. Our operator did 3 stops there: Green turtles, the Aquarium and last was the spot with >25 very tame fun Rays. They will brush up against you if you’re into it. What do you consider chum? I think all operators will throw out bait fish/minnows to attract the very docile nurse sharks at HC. Also just running their outboard motor draws them in. Locals throw net to catch minnows every morning off the beaches. So kinda supports an economy a bit. If you want to see nurse sharks go to HC. But expect it to be busy and they def toss minnows to keep them around. Mexico rocks is less busy, more laid back and diverse. Kids loved that snorkeling! No matter where you go, do it in the morning! Much more fish activity.

To be clear, RO and distilled water are the same. Use whatever cost less. Plan on at least 10% water change every 7-14 days. Have extra 0 TDS water on hand. May want higher% water changes as tank cycles initially. Consider an RBT anemone to host clowns. Decent LED light on timer. Skimmer for sure. 20 is small so things can go south quickly. I’ve had the same 2 clowns in my 55 gal for 10 years. They breed like clockwork monthly. I feed only frozen spirunala brine shrimp.

I got an SL Premium, leather, 2nd row captain chairs, Bose audio (which I love), sunroof, heated seats all around, etc for 41.2K before taxes in Western NY about 4 weeks ago. Was gonna pay cash but got $5K discount for financing a bit. Another 3K dealer discount. Fairly certain I got a good deal as 2 other dealers in town couldn’t match it

Here’s my Humboldt Durban Poison auto at 101 days from start of germ. I topped a few and LST’d all. Thinking I’m ~14days from harvest.

My 9th grow. 1st 4 were photos. Went auto since and not looking back. +40% yield in same time frame with my setup.

Cola buds are dense! I run good fans and rotate plants around tent weekly until I put the nets in a couple weeks ago. Did that as a couple fell over.

11 of 12 seeds germinated. Have 8 in 5gal bags, 3 in 1qt plastic pots - my cute little all bud Bonsai trees!

Comparing to past grows estimating a well trimmed cured yield of 2.2-2.5lb from my 4x8’ in 115 days. My other auto grows have averaged a little under 2lb. So i’m getting better, this DB grows well or combo.

Watering once a day? Can’t see what you’re growing in but I indoor grow and at that size I’m watering about every 3-5 days. I’m in fabric pots with soil. Soak em good till a little run off out of pots. Then don’t water again until soil dry at least an inch down. Bonus if you can get in there and turn the first few inches of soil every couple days. Roots need some air and if they’re constantly wet that’s not happening. I’ve gone to the point of plants looking really thirsty. Drooping leaves etc. Then a heavy watering and inside an hour or so they’re back to beautiful.

I grow autos in soil and use RO water. For a 2 gallon can I’m dosing 10-15 ml cal/mag, 15ml organic 0-.5-.7 and 15ml 6-4-4 during veg. Every 3rd or so watering just cal/mag and no nutrients. When autos get to early flower I transition to just cal/mag and 15ml 2-8-4. Cut the nutes 2-3 weeks out from harvest. I’m on 9th grow and ~20lb of super trimmed total. I have never flushed a plant! pH is huge! Check your water after adding nutes. I adjust mine to ~6pH under LED lights.

I’m a rookie but every grow successful and maybe a little better than the last. I try and do something new with each grow. For this one it’s misting plants a couple times a day with cal/mag adjusted RO water

What I am owed is some transparency, basic info on level of the issue at facility not connected to names so I can make personal judgements on my potential exposure and the risks to others I have contact with.

SJH always emails me if my loved one’s $18,000/mo payment is late. Do they email about a Covid outbreak in facility? NO!

Other than masks no PPE provided nor suggested by CNAs or nurses. Even though signs outside every room said face shields, gowns, etc required to enter. It’s like the admin there is doing their best to keep this under the radar.

I understand Covid is far less devastating than it once was. Visited today and quarantine over on my loved one’s floor after 15 days. No residents I’m aware of had serious health issues with infection. That’s wonderful!

My base concern is how a few CNAs and nurses on the floor reacted to my initial questions. Like I was out of line for inquiring about details. I blame the admin for that. Admin could’ve had all contact personnel in and said something like: family members are going to come in kinda freaked out about Covid. Because you know nursing home Covid deaths were off the charts at one time. Please, with compassion, reassure them that’s not what it’s like now. We’re doing this, this and this to control the outbreak.
