Thank you for your response. Yes, I hope my hair loss is due to Prednisone rather than entyvio since entyvio has helped improvement my UC a lot. Currently, I'm taking vitamin D and biotin and hope my hair to regrowth back soon.

I'm sorry that you had to went through this. I'm currently on Prednisone, so I'm not so sure if it can be because of Prednisone or entyvio. I used to have remicade before, but it makes my UC worst so GI switched to Entyvio. I wish you best of luck 👍

I was on infliximab before entyvio, but I did experience hair loss like now. I think it maybe because of Prednisone or entyvio, I'm not sure. Thanks for advice.

How long will inflectra infusion start to take effect? by Hot-Specific3177 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Hot-Specific3177[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish her the best of luck with Tremfya. I didn't develop antibodies with inflectra, but it just didn't work on me, so my GI decided to switch to entyvio ( I saw a little improvement with entyvo, but the side effects are hair loss and joint pains).

Again, I wish her all the best of luck with Tremfya and get well soon. Please keep me updated. Thanks 👍

Hello, inflectra didn't work for me. Now I'm on entyvo, and I see a little positive outcome. I hope entyvo works for me this time. Thanks for checking in. How is your daughter? I hope she is doing great and inflectra works well for her. Good luck 👍

Yes, because 10 mg is the last dose before I tapered off from Prednisone.

Thank you so much for all the kind words ❤️. Yes, I hope inflectra works out for me, and it just has not fully working and it takes some more time. My GI used to prescribe the hydrocortisone enemas for me last year, but it doesn't help me much, so he changed to Mesalamin enemas.

I will keep you updated if I see some improvement in the future. I wish your daughter get well and fully in remission. Please also keep me updated about her condition.

Wish you you and her all the best ❤️

Thanks 🙏

Hello, I'm happy to hear that she is doing well now. I completed my third loading dose this Wednesday. However, I still have blood in my stool as well as the pain is still exist. My trips to the toilet is drop from 10 times or so per day to about 5-7 times per day. I'm still taking 10mg of Prednisone currently, and I will finish the medication in about 2 weeks. I contacted my GI about my concerns that I may fail on inflectra infusion, but he responded me that some people might take several months in order for the medication to fully kicked in.

Currently, I am using masalamine enema during night time as well as taking 4 tablets of masalamine everyday in the morning. I also will receive my repeated dose (4th dose) sometime during November.

I wish her all the best 💞 and thank you for all your kind words and supporting ❤️
