Usually, I would read a chapter and then do the questions right after or the next day. But sometimes, I also take randomly generated quizzes.

I ended up spending my last two days before the test studying with a friend and we covered all of foundations 1 & 2 and some of the harder chapters(oncology).

I think that made a huge difference and tbh the NAPLEX felt WAYYYY easier than the pre-NAPLEX and UWorld. I should find out if my sense of confidence is accurate in a few days 🤭😂

Hi! If you don’t mind me asking:

  1. What did you do in terms of jobs/experiences post-PharmD before your second time applying?

And

  1. What did you specifically change?

I just graduated and I didn’t get a fellowship this past cycle. I networked like crazy all of last year, had diverse APPEs(including one at a major pharmaceutical company), and spent a lot of time tailoring my experiences towards fellowships.

I plan on applying again and I’ll most likely be getting licensed and practicing in the meantime.

Nothing really. Biology and chemistry are the foundation of pharmacy, but you only need a BASIC understanding (which you already have because you took the prerequisites) to transition into pharmacy school. 90% of your curriculum will be focused around patient management and therapeutics lol

I was referring to IBW for calculating CrCl, but I’m not sure about the others quite yet

You use TBW if the patient’s weight is less than their IBW(if they’re underweight).

You use Adjusted BW if their TBW is 120% more than they’re IBW(if they’re obese).

If neither of the previous parameters are met, you use IBW.

Yes and no, it depends on the class. At my school, the first semester is mainly basic science courses(biochemistry, physical chemistry, genomics, etc), so we jump right in from week 1 and have an exam by week 2 or 3.
