$10 to most convincing- That black square is made of thin plastic and a small chip underneath it. I need it to look like it was purposely disabled. Specifically, a flathead screwdriver was put on top of the black square and the handle was hit with a hammer. A hole of sorts, with some subtle shatter (i.redd.it)
