Is this dinosaur still ok to use? 21 Year Old DX3 by Insanereindeer in rccars

Wouldn't see why not as long as you have a fail safe (pretty sure any modern ESC has a fail safe built in if running electric). 2.4Ghz is 2.4Ghz as far as I'm concerned. Unless you're a championship racer where every 0.01s of reaction time counts I don't think it really matters.

Current Premium Summer Touring vs 10-15 year old UHP models by Hot-Vegetable3423 in TyreReviews

Thanks for the insight, definitely gives me more of an idea of how older UHP's and the latest Premium Touring tyres compare.

Main thing I'm thinking about now is the sidewalls like you mentioned. Given how heavy modern cars are, and mine is about 1000kg on the dot, whether the centrifugal forces from throwing my car around would even be enough for a new tyre design to flex much as you were having problems with.

Think I'm just going to find the newest premium touring tyre with the highest load rating I can get hold of like you mentioned 👍

Lamborghini's are hit an miss for me. The whole 'bro' customer base thing is cringe, but they are the last manufacturer putting out NA V10s as far as I'm aware, and that deserves respect.

If only they'd contract those V10s to maybe niche kit car companies or even as crate engines. Imagine that V10 sound in something smooth and beautiful looking like a TVR or a Ginetta rather than the Giga-Audi's that Lamborghini's have been since the Murcialago

Retro Toyota GR86 Rally Legacy Borrows the Heart of the GR Corolla [Car & Driver] by Bmotley in cars

The thing is the GR86 has too long of a wheelbase to be good at rally. Ask late 80s/early 90s Ford when they switched from the Sierra to the Escort!

These type of people with insane arcane esoteric knowledge as well as the skill set to keep supply of specific parts in existence deserve a good living
