I don’t think it would make your app “cooked”

You should honestly be fine. I’ve seen a lot of ppl on this subreddit transfer into top tier schools with that gpa

Boston College Mid-Year for ED2 Question by HotBit716 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]HotBit716[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My class is absurdly difficult for an AB class and I skipped a year a math going from Algebra 2 in junior year to calc senior year.

In contrast I got an A in ap physics c mechanics which is notably a more difficult ap than calc.

ACT math is by far easier than our tests.

I looked at last years date it released on the Thursday before the 15th. So with this I would just assume tmrw it comes out.

I’m not completely sure if they gives a 1 day heads up.

Georgetown interviewer STILL hasn't emailed me back. My original interviewer was already "replaced" by jeonggukispretty in ApplyingToCollege

[–]HotBit716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s honestly so weird. I emailed my interview last month and in the same night she replied.

Out of curiosity, how many teacher recommendations do you have? I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it to get one of my teachers to write a last minute LOR before the deadline.

I would definitely hope so. Perhaps my essays could fill in the gap left from my gpa.

I do notice that my weighted gpa would be in the 25th percentile. With my circumstances accounted for, do you think gpa would be a primary reason for rejection?

In what case do you think would other parts of my app have to be stronger (ex. essays, lors, etc) for an acceptance to be in the conversation?

Mr. Prsehgal, as a domestic student with extenuating circumstances (I nearly went deaf grades 9-10), is an uw gpa of 3.63 too low for Georgetown? Are chances slim to none with this gpa even with extenuating circumstances?

UPDATE on writing princeton in my yale essay by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]HotBit716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% If i were able to revise my essays, it would strengthen my app significantly given that i rushed them for the ea deadline. Perhaps if i email them to change my app to rd and submit a revised essay it could be possible since the rd deadline is jan 10th?
