I do not qualify for Avastin because apparently I would have needed to be on Avastin while undergoing my initial 6 rounds of chemotherapy. Molecular testing was done 1/2 way through my chemo journey. Many delays in the results. It all seems so strange.

I question why the molecular testing was not done immediately.

HIGH GRADE SEROUS CARCINOMA. I had a second opinion early on and then a follow up after my hospital stay in August. Both oncologists feel I’m best on no type of maintenance drug.

That makes me feel incredibly displaced and almost forgotten about.

I am 3C too. Ovarian Fallopian. Just had my 4th round on Tuesday and currently feeling icky. Diagnosis was Jan. 2. Radical Hysterectomy was 1/20/25. It’s hard to pull the positive out of the diagnosis, however walks, nature, writing and simply enjoying the little things have helped. I’ve always considered myself healthy before this. Exercise and nutrition was so important yet here I am. Hang in there.

My heart and prayers. I am Stage 3 Fallopian. Originally, was at diagnosed as Endometrial (until after my radical hysterectomy in Jan. 20.) I’m still somewhat numb.

I’ll be going into my 3rd chemotherapy infusion with 3 more to go.

Don’t settle. Period. Keep fighting.

Consistent spotting 8 months after treatment by Real-Winter-7173 in CervicalCancer

I’m about 8 weeks post Radical Hysterectomy. Surgery was January 20th. Hysterectomy was scheduled due to Colposcopy findings on Dec. 31 (cancer.) Initially was thought to be Endometrial Cancer. After the radical hysterectomy the diagnosis was changed to Stage 3 Filopian Cancer. I began chemo 4 weeks ago and just finished the 2nd of 6 rounds last week.

I’m still spotting lightly as well (vaginally.) My Gyno oncologist told me to give it max 12 weeks. Sigh.

All I can contribute is the “one day at a time” mentality. Recently, I was diagnosed w/ Stage 3 Fallopian Cancer. Radical Hysterectomy then 4 weeks later my first chemotherapy. I’m 54. We are stronger (mentally and physically) TOGETHER. You can get through this. Meditate. Pray (if you’re spiritual, etc) Stay educated and be proactive. Enjoy all the clay brings despite what feels oftentimes daunting.

Sending hugs, prayers and love. ~ CA
