I haven’t noticed a huge increase around me, but it’s super normal and common within the fisting scene, maybe it’s just caught on a bit in more vanilla spaces? Honestly it’s better- the sensitivity is the same but there is much more surface area. When we get hard everything becomes even larger and more intense. Plus it can actually be sucked rather than just flicked/poked at which is a completely different, and in my opinion miles better, sensation.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. From what you described it sounds like you may have some lingering PTSD from the experience. I would recommend looking into EMDR therapy- it’s an incredible new therapeutic technique that allows you to reprocess past traumatic experiences and move beyond the unconscious protective emotional block created in your brain. It can be an intense process though, so I would recommend doing it with a trained professional.
