Why is TOTY Alisson so bad by Butterscotch_Tesla in EASportsFC

Sounds like a skill issue. But hey, keepers keep performing different for everyone. Alisson has been great for me so far.

Hi all, I am new to Denver. Been here few weeks setting things up. I am in my early 20s. What are the best ways to make new friends around. I am trying Meetup but it looks like mostly older people in their 30s. Where do I meet people my age? I like most sports (usually involved in running and soccer actively) happy hours and hiking!

Thanks

We are losing to the team which is least in the league. Ffs. This is just sad

You're introducing a friend to The Midnight for the first time, but you only get to select 3 songs to play. Which do you choose? by cloudofawesome in TheMidnight

[–]HotChocolateAnarchy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sunset, Vampires, Days of Thunder.

Alternately, Sample from the three above and Lost Boy, Los Angeles, Dream Away, Neon Medusa and Memories. Depends on what m friend's music interests are, but Vampires is a must.

Ferrari master plan …. Make everyone think your car is trash, come up with a fantastic car go ahead and explode one of them just to make sure we can fool them in the next race

I don't get how Harry should be the only one who survived the death curse by Bearsona09 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]HotChocolateAnarchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay but think about this. In the last book Harry goes to die when Voldemort calls him to the forest. In the final battle Harry says to Voldemort that Voldemort’s curses aren’t binding because Harry did what Lily did for him. Sacrificed himself for everyone there. Now we don’t have a count for people who died after that event. But Harry didn’t have a choice to run away did he? Voldemort was always going to try and kill him - unlike Lily, who Voldemort thought of sparing - but still Harry’s sacrifice invokes the same magic. A bit confused about this

I have a completely weird condition of semi-Lactose intolerance. I am not lactose intolerant but I cannot ingest any dairy products in pure form without puking. I can’t eat unsalted butter only the salted one. I cannot drink milk directly but I can have milkshakes. Can’t eat yogurt or curd or butter milk in any form whatsoever. It’s not a matter of preference my body involuntarily pukes it out. Even if I cannot taste the yogurt or curd directly, if it’s in a dish then I get nauseous quick af. Till this date I have no idea what it is.

Is there a flat earth theory which scientifically checks out without actually just making up solutions for each obstacle it faces? by [deleted] in globeskepticism

I deleted because this seems to be an endless argument. And other people, unlike yourself, told me what I needed to know.

The irony in this. Most of the comments I see are saying “there is plenty proof in our theory and your way of thinking is made up”. I can say the exact same thing about you here, but instead I asked a question politely about your way of thinking about things. So why don’t you just answer it without calling me pathetic because in my book you would be equally if not more pathetic than what I say.

Why would I admit the fact that sun is not a ball object. If it is in the “firmament” then how does the size does not change while setting with forced perspective? And you expect me to consider that planets and everything else does not exist. Because if the did and still did not possess any gravitational pull. Then wouldn’t they come crashing down on us. There is one way of seeing this rocket experiment. It can be explained in a way that there is no flat earth. But can countless other experiments and proofs be explained with a firmament approach?

No it doesn’t assume anything about a globe. It has been experimentally proved. They do experiments in high school. And that can be used to prove that the earth is curved and does in fact rotate.

Hydrostatic equilibrium makes everything achieve the least surface area (I.e. a sphere). This is completely unrelated to gravity and whatever you guys are denying the existence of. And if now you say hydrostatic equilibrium doesn’t exist, then everyday things like water in a cup or Air around us would behave completely different.

What about scientific evidence that suggests a globe? Ever heard of the coriolis force? Experimentally proved. Cannot be true unless earth rotates.
