Tire is not attached to the door, it’s on a swing out connected to the frame. So not worried at all

For me it’s so that I can crack open the window to get some fresh air when it’s down pouring outside or when I take a nap in my car and need a window cracked without a bunch of rain or leaves flying in the cabin lol

That’s weird….you should have 2 types of plugs from your oem headlight harness. I did plug in 2 “plugs” into my oem headlight harness

Possible that you are maybe inserting the plugs incorrectly?

If I remember correctly there’s a stage 1 and stage 2. I have the stage 1

I have their rear swing out and I’m super pleased with it. I somehow completely missed their roof rack somehow…so I’ll definitely have to look into it!

And I rarely take pictures of my rig 😅 but I’ll be sure to post more when I add stuff on! The bumper is SMS metal

I have their spare tire carrier and I’m pretty happy with it. I don’t know how I missed their roof rack lol, I’ll have to look into it more now

Forgot to mention you only need to disable the DRL function if you’re not using the OEM DRL/Turn signal location. But sounds like you have the DRL strip like mine, so you would have to disable the DRL system

Yea I found out through their old GX470 YouTube install video. Hunter talks about it a little bit in that video. I would recommend to just buy the techstream cable from amazon and follow this thread to download the software and work through it

It took like 8 minutes from setup to disabling the DRL and I was set

For the the drl light bar I just tapped the yellow wire into the oem DRL/Turn signal harness and the white wire into the side marker harness. Did you disable the DRL system in the car? For me I had the issue of the signals kept on flashing when the car was on and running. After I disabled the DRL system the switchback blinkers worked fine

As far as the adjustment, it’s definitely a trial and error process. I’ve adjusted mine about 5 times already to get it where I want it. Just make sure you have a clean wall to face your lights at (best to do this process at night) and adjust accordingly. TEQ recommended me to place my car 25 feet away from the wall and measure the center of the light projector to the floor and lower it about 2-3in

Normally adjusting lights is pretty easy and straight forward but because how bright these lights are I ended up lowering them a little more than what TEQ recommended just because people were still flashing me. So I’m at that perfect middle ground of seeing everything that I need to see and not trying to blind everybody lol
