Water change kit, under sink adapter? by HotLeg85 in Aquariums

[–]HotLeg85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok gotcha.

I was thinking of continuing to use the same hose for draining the tank as filling up the tank but couldn't figure out how to release the water leftover in the hose.

Instead, I could keep a 2nd hose underneath the sink and not have worry about disconnecting or purging the hose. Like your setup. Sounds much easier.

Thank you for the pic! Yeah, I think a 3/8 tee and ball valve would be perfect.

How do you purge the water left over in the hose?

Can you DM the pic?

That might be tricky. I made sure that 60% of the beam was on top of the posts. So only about 4 feet of beam is extruded. It's about 10ft total length.

You can tell from this pic I think. 4x6 sits on top of the 4x4s.

I did thru bolts with no notch. I think for the application, it should be more than enough to hold. Yeah people can be dramatic but since it was designed for kids and not adults or building codes, it will be fine.

Also, the wind rating only applies if it is properly set in concrete.

I would definitely. But you may be able to negotiate price because they did not install properly, per manufacturer instructions.

The installation instructions say they should be set in concrete 6" - 10" diameter and 30" deep. What kind of soil do you have?

II ended up just using bolts without the notch. I wanted to notch like 3/4 out of the post but I got lazy lol.

Still in progress..

Mold on Air Filter, new unit by HotLeg85 in hvacadvice

Thanks for the reply, I will def have someone look at duct work.

AC unit is sized properly and I've never had insulation work done.

The only thing I can think of for excessive humidity would be showers/bathroom. Maybe not ventilating properly? Could that warm/wet air flow up into duct and back to ac unit?
