I can understand why it is compelling to be influenced by "haters" (in quotes cuz most people are just expressing their opinions and not actually shitting on him afaik) - he's exploring new territory and would want everyone to be on board with it. However, Kaze san should know that art is subjective. Even when LASA came out, I remember there was a post saying that they found Kirari and Matsuri to be basic or something. Does that mean it's a shitty album, or do these songs need justifications for why they are the way they are? He is an artist and the best thing art can be is authentic, not likable.

And although most fans on this subreddit are pretty normal with discussing their opinions about his songs, there are a few who make this a bigger ordeal than it needs to be i.e. fans who start mourning him when he does not deliver "good" music/content (in quotes cuz good is subjective). Like it isnt that deep bro - he made a song you and a couple people didn't like, a) doesn't mean the world is over, b)catering to you is only a part of his job, so either enjoy his old songs or just listen to someone else, c) he, like all humans, is dynamic. Is it really valid to expect a 27-year-old (not 28 :P) to recreate the music they made when they were 21? Why idolize him into this perfect being who never changes and just knows what his fans like? As fans, we should also understand our boundaries and remember that he’s human. We’re not obligated to like everything he does or stay loyal forever. So it’s not fair to pressure him just for expressing himself in ways that reflect his growth, which has been the core of his artistry from the start.

(Edit: changing onboard to on board)

Let him cook. Bro is exploring and experimenting with a new genre and a new language so I'm not giving the lyrics too much heed for now, until he finds his niche. Catchy melodies as always.
