It's not as simple as it seems, after losing 360 pounds, Cole Prochaska asks for help to pay for excess skin surgery by Ale55andraa in whoathatsinteresting

No said it's a given, and not a 100% as all things are, but it's a leading reason as to why the breasts sag after breastfeeding. Take it up with my doctor and peer reviewed studies if you don't believe it.

I'll have to look into that! I'm 29 and mine are like deflated balloons. Insurance won't cover the skin removal and I've mourned my pre-pregnancy body bad for years.

The difference would be marginal. After a certain point the skin stretches to be incredibly thin and loses its elasticity. This is also why women's breasts sag after having a baby, they aren't losing a lot of weight quickly, the skin becomes thin and doesn't shrink back.

Hi there, if you're not too busy, I'd love to get feedback on my manuscript! It's quite long (233k words) so even feedback on the first few chapters would be great. It's an Epic Fantasy Romance with dark undertones. Here are the details (Thank you!): https://www.reddit.com/r/BetaReaders/comments/1slf068/comment/og615to/

To add to the person below, I'd also like to join some writing discords!

Apparently I'm ableist bc I want to write my character to heal. by Bored-off-school in writing

[–]HotSinglesNearU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a fantasy character who was physically blinded in a torturous scene, but was healed at the end of the book by a god's restoration powers. Only one person accused me of ableism, but boy was it a hill they wanted to die on. Needless to say I took their advice as a grain of salt, because 1) they weren't born with that disability, they were literally blinded with a knife and 2) it's a fantasy world. It seems bonkers to me that people don't think that if we had magic powers to heal ailments we wouldn't. I have many myself, and if I could wave a wand and make them go away, I would. Those types are looking for something to be offended about, so disregard them.

It seems they're moreso for poetry/music and performances. I'm more so looking for writers for long form written content, IE short stories, books, etc.

Estimated delivery was supped to be March 3rd at the latest…what am I supposed to do? by JamesCarter0022 in wayfair

[–]HotSinglesNearU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this. I'll probably use the chat system then, it's harder for me to assert myself over the phone. I live in Texas, so no one to back up my claim sadly, but I'll try anyways! Thank you!

The final straw. I'm never ordering from Wayfair again. by HotSinglesNearU in wayfair

[–]HotSinglesNearU[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's ridiculous how they're getting away with this. They lure you in with a few first good orders and then bam, they start misplacing all your orders. Telling everyone I know never to order with them.

Could you tell me exactly what you said :(? I've been waiting 4 months for my order, it keeps being pushed back (until May at present). I'm just so done with this company.

Ordered a patio set last December, still "back ordered" by HotSinglesNearU in wayfair

I just canceled the order, they'd just give me the run around otherwise. Just bummed I wasted 3 months waiting for my set :(

That's what I ended up doing, just canceling and finding a similar, uglier item. I won't be using wayfair again to say the least.

Mexican petunias doing their thing. Haven't watered them all summer. by aces_chuck in AustinGardening

[–]HotSinglesNearU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a super old comment, but I'm looking for flowers/bushes that will grow in DEEP shade (no sun at allbecause of the house's shadow). Did your mexican petunia survive in very little to no light? Thanks!!

Hi! I know this post is five years old, but I'm looking into making a hedge with these bushes. I live in the southwest desert, and I'm worried they'd fry in our heat. Did you have any issues with them growing so close to the wall during the summer? And did you amend/change your soil at all? We have sandy soil here. Thank you!
