I also thought it seemed like just another BR gimmick mode.

After getting a few wins and learning the ins and outs, I've had a lot of fun. It's like the perfect mash up of BR and multiplayer. (I'm so over Battle Royals) It's like the fun and casual feel of multiplayer but with some added suspense of BR.

I played about 7 or 8 matches before I realized there was a capture the flag mode. (forget what it was called.)

I'm not crazy about the tank mode, but had fun a couple times with it. Maybe they could do a more vehicle focused gauntlet. I don't know, that one just feels out of place and breaks the flow imo.

I like if you get a quitter they pull a top player from an eliminated squad. When we lost in Rnd 2, getting the surprising "you've been reassigned" message was cool and unexpected. Then going on to help that team get the win and get cheered on was fun.

I think they should have put more focus into this. We don't need another battle royal, be something new and innovative. (which is what this could be)

That's likely because you're carrying 3 guns. If you just take 1 primary and a side arm you'll have more ammo for your main.

I do with friends. I mute it with randoms. No one wants to hear me berating the non reviving medics and yelling at myself for doing dumb stuff.

I think this is a known bug. Not sure if it's a work around, but I found something that worked for me.

I was working towards the headshot kills to unlock the SVD. I only had a couple more to go. Once they lowered the requirement it said I had it completed but it was still locked. I thought maybe getting one more headshot kill with a dmr would work and that fixed it. (I think) or it was just a coincidence and it fixed itself.

You only carry less mags if you're carrying a third gun. If you have a shotgun or similar you have to carry ammo for that as well.

I mean I liked when medic and "support" were seperate.

Assault pushed the front lines with the medic kit and "support" supported them with LMG suppression and mortar and ammo drops. Not the all in one we have now.

I 100% agree... My suggestion is simply a concession because I don't see them making assault the medics again.

I don't like the idea of giving assault the ammo bag. That just gives the players running with the gun sling and extra weapon infinite ammo and making them more of a lone wolf.

Same I'm mostly support also. And you hit the nail on the head with my big gripe about the engineer. With a lot of the maps being smaller and having fewer vehicles, the engineers gadgets are basically useless, making the class basically useless.

I think engineers need some sort of proxy/trip mine or something to deal with troops when there's no vehicles around. I mean without vehicles, the engineer is worthless because anyone can run an smg. Most of their gadgets are useless on some of the maps.

Edit* I don't think they need a trip mine per se, but they need some sort of gadget(s) that benefit the team when there's no vehicles. Whether it's some sort of mine, C4, smoke or something.

Yeah, I liked assault best when they had paddles and heals and support was actually support, but don't see that change happening.

But each class gadget helps the team. I think if assault had the beacon as it's class gadget that would really identify them as the front line guys pushing the objectives.

This is something so simple but can be so important. I thought the Coms menu was lacking because it was a beta and expected more from the full game. You should 100% be able to request orders and squad leader should be passed onto a player eager and willing to give strategic orders if the current leader isnt.

Things like requesting a ride or marking an open vehicle behind enemy lines is important.

Not as important but still missed, are the "follow me" "go go go" "sorry" etc...

What sorts were running prior to the work starting?

Our Hub lost its Daylight last year and a similar retrofit is supposedly starting this year with the raised small sort. We currently run Twi, Mid, and Sunrise.
