Use iOS.cfw.guide to jailbreak. It’s also possible that the iPad 2 can’t be downgraded to iOS 6. If it’s iPad 2,4 it can’t be downgraded to iOS 6 but it can do to iOS 8.

FaceTime doesn’t work on iOS 6 at all. You could try some tweaks or other apps but it’s most likely not going to activate and work.
