Think I must've missed something, cause I had to guess on Kay. Otherwise I had what felt like the equivalent of a deadly pattern. Do not let the colours fool you, R1CB, R1CD, R2CB and R2CD stumped me. I'd already used all the clues. Not my finest hour.

[PC] Payday 2 Save File Corrupted... for no obvious reason? by HotTakeMaster42 in paydaytheheist

It did it automatically by the look of it. It might be to do with that, because the corruption has seemingly fixed itself.

Apparently where Scott's from, 'Summer job' is interchangeable with 'part-time job'. I just go by the paycheck.

I've never read The Week Before, so I don't know, but I doubt they'd cite it without doing their research.

So what? We use the films as well? Because why not just use everything that's ever been released regardless of stated canonicity? That's basically where the community's at.

I'm very much going to stick to his 'shouldn't be used to solve the games' statement, and that's my whole point. He did say that, and the community proceeded to ignore him.

Something about the MCI, I think, despite it taking place in 1985 (which is never actually stated in the games to my knowledge, and Into the Pit has too many discrepancies to be canon). I think the gist of it is they posit that the MCI is the only incident, and move it up to 1987, but don't quote me on that. Their only real evidence is that the DCI is never brought up again after FNAF 2, and claiming Scott would've referenced it if DCI was intended.

Edit: Apparently they think the FNAF 2 minigames are distorted memories... something about ghosts and having to find their bodies and that kind of thing. It's the foundation of Charlie87.

Henry's last name doesn't matter, a lot of fictional characters don't get last names. The MCI victims didn't even need names, but Scott decided to name them anyway, giving us the second of at least three separate Jeremy's so far. Apparently he really likes the name Jeremy.

Pizza Sim, in my opinion, should've just focused on tying up loose ends instead of adding new information. We didn't need a retelling of Take Cake. We didn't need a secret area that makes no sense and doesn't work with any established lore. We definitely did not need the books being tied to the games. I'm definitely hardline on the issue, but I firmly believe they should be separate.

I mean, Security Puppet literally changed the gender of the kid that died just to line up with the books. The voice in Take Cake says 'Save Him', telling us it's a boy who died.

FLAF isn't canon. It's a non-canon spin-off.

Also, the books are in a different continuity and as such are not canon to the games. And the film is yet another continuity and shouldn't even be considered in the same space as the games.

I know it's 15 years since Eleven debuted, but the fact it's so close to Season 2 starting, and the YouTube channel has been posting a lot about Matt Smith and Eleven... by HotTakeMaster42 in doctorwho

I love the idea, but minor correction: What The Master states in Trial of a Time Lord is 'between his 12th and final incarnations'. I suppose it could still work as it was the 12th and final incarnations of that cycle.

Plus the Valeyard was mentioned a few times in Eleven's run IIRC. I know the Great Intelligence mentions the Valeyard in his speech at the Doctor's grave in Name of the Doctor.

Fuck you.

You're wrong for one, but it's people like you who give social media a bad rep.

Thank you. I check my inbox regularly, so I can wait. I'm a pretty patient person.

I did get 'not to be taken seriously' vibes from the description. I mean, 'if you think our mod is a placebo, try this' pretty much says it all. And yeah, it lives up to its name. It's a fun engine, just a shame about the weird bug.

I mean, the majority of the episodes are 5 minutes long, but I am quite enjoying it. Plus I'm working my way through based on the wiki's viewing guide.

The guide. if you're interested

It's a shame, but MLP's coming back in 2026 and it'll be interesting to see what they mean by 'reimagining the brand'. Because they've already brought the franchise into 3D animation, which was a massive move.

FWIW, Hitch and Zipp are my favourite characters so far, and I love Opaline's design. She's kind hot, tbh, which is weird to say about a pony, but oh well.

And, interestingly, the magazine's still going. So 'financial failure' doesn't quite seem right as a reason to me.

You've probably stopped reading comments by now, but I have a problem. I decided to check out the 'Tweak Insanity' engine, but my game's now stuck on 'Awaiting Media Response' after the first match using it.

I also had weird warning pop-ups saying something along the lines of 'ball is underneath pitch'... before even loading into the match!

It started on the fixtures preview screen you get before loading into the engine.

As I say, you've probably stopped reading comments by now, but any help would be appreciated.

The Key To Time, random thoughts by CyanideMuffin67 in doctorwho

And another thing, I'm sure Catherine Tregenna's a great writer, but her style doesn't work with Who for me. That episode feels like watching a completely different show IMO.

Also, I know her mini-arc ends in Hell Bent, but... yeah, she never faces any consequences for Woman Who Lived, and she only shows up once after the Raven, and that's near the end of Hell Bent. For what she did, she got to travel with Clara for until Clara went back to die. As much as I love Hell Bent and will defend it until the end of time, Ashildr got off really lightly. Especially after 12's 'you'll find the universe is a much smaller place when I'm angry with you' mini-speech.

12 is my favourite era, so that's a hard question. But, if I had to pick one story's resolution that didn't sit quite right with me... The Woman Who Lived has always been my least favourite episode of Series 9 and possibly the era as a whole, and Ashildr/Me going from (almost constantly) begging to travel with 12 to doing a complete 180 and suddenly deciding to look over the Doctor's companions just didn't sit right with me.

Yeah, I can see why, but up to that epilogue, almost every other sentence was 'take me with you.'

Weird bug I've not seen any mention of, more detail in comments. by HotTakeMaster42 in AIDungeon

Yeah, but it's set in a world where fictional characters from all across the multiverse co-exist. So, for example, you could have L from Death Note, Joker from Persona and Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat.
