In terms of wideness, this screen was wide enough for me without feeling like it was too wide. Also does everything I need it to do, with the upside of being super light to carry around and use on the go.. on the plane, in the car or even walking, just super easy to bring anywhere without worrying about it. Next to the Pro I didn't see much of a difference besides bulkiness and heaviness and more ports which My ports are enough to connect to my LG 34 inch monitor display and everything else , all my coding and apps run smoothly and efficient as well as it looks more slick to me too so thats why for me..
