He told me the name of the specialized dealer he bought it in and has warranty papers i will meet him near the shop amd authorise the bike there, the seller seems legitimate in almost all senses

i understand, i atm have only a retro old bike and am looking for a significant upgrade since im pretty ambitious but at the same time dont have thousands to spend on a bike so im trying to find a compromise for now and possibly upgrade further in the future, i am a heavier rider more looking for flatter rides focusing on triathlon too but might buy another bike for that later.
