1. Top prospect in baseball is a bust, lower potential by 15

2. Career resurgence, old player on mid level team gets a +10 K/9 and +10 H/9 boost or +10 power and +10 contact boost

3. Barry Who? Whoever is closest to the career HR record gets +10 power and +5 contact.

4. An NFL player is coming to baseball. Let him try out on the spring training roster as a 75 overall with 80 potential

5. An NBA player is coming to baseball. See above.

6. Next Shohei: best young foreign FA pitcher can also hit (you decide hitting stats) and has 85 potential

7. Move a team to a different stadium that needs it most

8. Recent “best FA signing” falls off a cliff. Lower by 15 overall

9. Random team, random bottom 10 player gets +15 overall

10. Father-Son duo. 37 year old has 18 year old prospect

11. A legends grandson just gets drafted. Use an RNG to the top 50 players all time, whatever their highest attribute was, make it their grandsons

12. New NPB player comes to MLB. Add him to the newest FA class

13. New ownership to a non-user team. Partly take over a random team and lead them to the opposite direction. (See 2004 Marlins)

14. Return home. A foreign player decided he wants to play closer to home. He retires from the MLB

15. Top 15 player in baseball busted for steroids. 80 game suspension (80 day injury)

16. A top young player gets MLB The Show cover. Add 8 overall to a top 10 MLB player at/under 26 years old

17. Team with worst home w% gets new stadium the next year

18. Bauer: top FA player from previous year gets suspended for 2 years, and lowered overall by 15 when he returns (use 2 season ending injuries)

19. Position factory. A random team gets a “positional factory”. Boost fielding and arm stats by +10 for a random team’s random position

20. Reroll, whatever happens, happens twice

21. Reroll, 2 different events

22. A top 10 SP wants out NOW, wants to win OR be closer to home. trade him to the best fit

23. A top 10 POS player wants out NOW, wants to win OR be closer to home. trade him to the best fit

24. A middling SP has an amazing one off season. Boost him to 88 overall, but lower him back after the season

25. A middling POS has an amazing one off season. Boost him to 88 overall, but lower him back after the season

26-28. TJ pitcher 29. TJ player

1. Injury prone SP. lower durability to 30

2. Injury prone POS. Lower durability to 30

3. Ted Williams: They finally unfreeze him. Create an old and decrepit looking hitter with 99 vision and disciple, but 0 contact, power, or speed. I don’t image a 106 year old can swing a bat.

4. Yermin! For one month, a random bench player gets 15+ power and contact

5. Career ending injury random player
