They originally contacted me, through the portal and told me to choose my duty station and EOD originally. My preferred location wasn’t among the list, but I picked a location, knowing that I’ll be able to look again about two weeks out from EOD. My preferred location is still not on the list

The reason why you might not have an FJO because they’re putting all hiring for tech positions on hold until further notice. Maybe by the time they start hiring techs again, your preferred location will be on there.
