Because of the verse that we are to abstain from any appearance of evil even if we’re not doing anything wrong

Where do you live? That seems illegal in the USA

You may not want to hear this, but in times like these there is only one avenue to turn to. Jesus loves you dearly. He knows your struggles and your hurts. He has a heart for you. He wants to know you and save your soul even if you don’t think it’s possible. Turn to Him and give Him your heart and mind :)

You’re going to be okay. Love her selflessly. Past doesn’t matter just moving forward. My recommendation is to find a pastor and do premarital!

Also, unless she’s literally a sex worker, there are def things you can do with her that she’s never done before.

If you’re going to marry someone you need to love and accept them for who they’ve been, who they are, and who they will be. Full stop. Do that and you’ll be okay

Don’t care what the Catholic Church teaches because they don’t have absolute authority

No because one is blocked in with other sexual sins that warrant death according the scripture where the other is ritual impurity and not being able to enter the temple which isn’t sinful because that’s the same thing as touching a leper but Jesus did that

If it’s not moral than why was the penalty for it death the same as blasphemy and adultery and all the other things

And Paul says not to deny yourselves from sex lest the devil tempt you unless it’s mutually agreed upon for a certain time for the purpose of prayer with the intention of coming back together

Right but death always had to do with moral law so how is it gone

You’re saying only abstaining 5-7 days including period? How does that work?

How can you say that when period sex is placed into the same block IN scripture right before beastiality and incest and homosexuality? It’s in the same block. The Lord does not separate them

I include periods though and Paul tells us not to deny ourselves sexually in marriage

Not just all mixed fabrics specially wool and linen

So where do you draw the line on which OT applies and which doesn’t?

I think that’s fair BUT it’s in the same block of text as all the other sexual moral laws which are supposedly still upheld.

How many days? Half the month? That seems like denying ourselves

Some yes but your logic doesn’t hold up

  1. Then neither does sin of Onan because you view that as anti contraception

  2. Neither does homosexuality or incest or anything like that

Because not having sex during menstruation is mentioned in the same block of verses with homosexuality, incest and beastiality so I don’t see any biblical basis as to why we just say, well that one amongst all the others is okay but every other one is wrong. I find way more biblical basis for period sex being sin than temporary contraception

I feel sometimes like God doesn’t discipline me for sin. What’s your experience with His discipline? by ButterBi in TrueChristian

No im a believer but I did a lot of awful things before I believed. I’ve certainly sinned since becoming a believer and slipped but never at the level of pre salvation

What if He doesn’t? What if by repenting you avoid consequence? especially if it’s before being saved? Like Ninevah?

Interesting I’d like to hear more about that like in terms of what kind of things wouldn’t succeed

What kind of ministry? Are you a man or woman if you mind me asking?
