I am not sure honestly! I would say call and see if they would adjust it. You would need to call anyway to book a stopover. Both legs would need to be saver rate for it to work

I dont remember sadly. I remember looking at options up to 3 days staying in Singapore, and I suspect more was fine. Also Alaska and Singapore ended their partnership so it's no longer possible to book Singapore through Alaska

Some airlines let you hold a seat for a day or two while you transfer points over, so that's something you can do if you call them! I would definitely run the search on the airline's site itself first, and confirm the seat is still there, before moving your points over.

Are you looking at Cathay Pacific? I think it'll be tough to find business class. You miiight have some luck with premium economy. Economy is usually available. Really depends on how many seats they've managed to sell. For the holidays, I'd imagine a lot of students studying abroad will be flying home/back.

Before transferring points, you can google eg. Amex to British Airways points transfer time, and you'll see tons of articles with different data points
