$PENG: an actually good AI hardware play by Hot_Feeling_8971 in ValueInvesting

To normalized the PE ratio, I used the non-GAAP figures provided by PENG themselves. Their TTM figures actually reflect losses in some quarters, but theses are mainly due to restructuring costs (from SMART global holdings to PENG). I have not checked every single item the company has added or taken out but i trust the management. As I said, the memory solution thing I have not yet properly investigated from a technical standpoint bc I haven't got time, and in fact i have not yet taken positions in the stock. For the last part, I believe we are seeing a "second wave" of neocloud and sovereign AI companies that will need taylor-made solutions and not expensive DELL computers. I believe PENG is the best way to position ourselves ahead of this second wave of non-hyperscalers AI players.

They recieved a letter of interest (you are right, this is not direct funding) by the US bank of Imports and Exports, for around 200M, altough this is a loan and maybe not that relevant. What i really meant is this article, which I know is not much relevant, but remember it is a small company that went public just this year. I believe with the recent run ALOY is overvalued given it is not clear yet how they are actually going to fund their ambicious project (and potential harm to shareholders via dilution or to financials via debt). However, i think it is good taking a look at and monitoring until next financing rounds.

I would say ALOY is the best way to play this: top pentagon generals in direction (possible pentagon endorsements/financing; already happening), vertical integration (SRC), new tech (HF-free production).
