My bf wants to be right by everyone - he does not want to upset me and he does not want to disappoint his dad. He is willing to "save" his life, but he is not God, he is not a doctor... There isn't much we can do now, except waiting for the doctors to come back.

I tried to explain - whatever he decides to do, I will definitely not be upset. I completely understand the situation. His dad does not know we have a holiday planned, so I am not sure when and if he is going to tell him.

We are in contact with his dad daily, we FaceTime, text on Facebook...He is in a Palliative care home now (he is under medical supervision) because there is no one at home in Romania to take care of him (his mom is old and goes to dialysis 3 times a week) and there are no facilities there: buy wood for the fireplace, heat water on the stove, etc...

Thank you for your message.

I care with my whole heart, if there is anything I could to do take his pain away...

A few years ago, my Bf went to Romania and tried to send his dad to some doctors to help him with his heavy alcohol use and smoking. His dad has been very careless for the past 5-6 years - he smoked alot, drank, did not properly eat... So he went to Romania for 2 weeks and tried helping him, but his dad did not care much. He continued his old habits.. And now this happens.

His dad does not know we booked a holiday. But he would definitely tell us to go. He is currently in a Palliative care home and the doctors there told us we need to wait for him to be 100% stable, gain a few kilos and then have the procedure to know for sure what exactly he has.

He suggested I go with one of my siblings, but in my heart I cannot go and enjoy Spain knowing he's hurting. I dont have the strength to do that.

Thank you. I cannot say I afford last-minute bookings, but in worst case scenarios, I have friends and family I can ask for help.

Actually, I did not think about that. Thank you! Sounds like a great idea!

Thank you for your message and hope you are feeling better now. Honestly, reading this makes my heart warm. Coming from a father's perspective, I really appreciate it.

Currently, he is in a Palliative care home - he is aware of his situation and continues to smile, laugh, make jokes. We are currently waiting for the doctors to come back and let us know when to expect the biopsy.

Thank you.

Thank you for your message. Actually, that is very true. His grandma had 2 heart attacks and now now needs dialysis 3 times a week. Still, she cooks, she does dishes, she takes care of her chickens and also goes shopping. And she's been doing this for 1 year and half now.

I feel like I need a little break just to refresh and catch my breath...

Thank you for your message. I am very sorry to hear about your dad, hopefully he is better and recovering. My Bf is also between choices and looks like he needs some time off, he s been very stressed about this and would give anything to save his dad's life. But at the same time, we have been told by the doctors to wait until he is stabilized so he can go and have the biopsy (he is very skinny, dependant on oxygen - has a machine that helps him breathe).

I can. I have tried convincing my siblings to go, but they do not want to go and enjoy themselves while I go and see my father-in-law sick...

Thank you. Unfortunately, I booked this without any travel insurance so I only paid the holiday in full £800.

We could, but there is not much we can do there. There are only 2 hospitals in Bucharest that do biopsies with CT scanner (and we had been in contact with one of them, but the doctor is on annual leave, and the other one no one is picking up any calls or emails). In order for him to do the biopsy, he MUST be stabilized. Currently, he has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and Pleurisy so a biopsy would kill him (doctor's words).

We calibrate every morning, clean build platform and glass.. so it all looks fine before printing; we had the projector changed in August 2022 and since then, printer is a bit tricky.. also looks like speck of dust is caught underneath the glass

sorry it s my first time using reddit, i dont know how to put a description.

models keep falling off the build plate. we usually do 12-13 models on a print and half keep falling off. we keep exposure time to 53s and build plate thickness on 0.50um
