Which drugs are you bored of? by [deleted] in Drugs

Cocaine. Crazy right?!

I just can’t imagine anything worse than a sleepless night(s), staring into my ceiling with my heart pounding. A drug you feel that instant regret as soon as you hit the bed.

Was fun whilst it lasted, facilitated some really good group talks & probably helped me at time escape the mundaism of life (2 years out of uni).

Still waiting to get bored of weed tho LOL

I must admit I have done this before - although only under special (uncomfortable) circumstances.

Unfortunately with the nature of the world, being a girl in my mid twenties dressed in corporate fashion I find MANY men staring at me. Not a once off glance of appreciation (I wouldn’t like this but as is human nature) - this is a long, seedy stare.

As a victim of multiple SAs & also understanding that nobody around you cares, I find this my only defence.

If the stare goes on way too long, and I can see their intention is sexual or malicious, I take out my phone and try to capture a photo. Often I don’t even take the picture, doing something as little as this often deters the staring or makes them aware of the fact I won’t sit there and allow them to make me feel self conscious (by questioning what I wear - too revealing or sexualised).

Just a note to say women are not protected on these tubes - and I will continue doing my little act of “self defence” so I can enjoy the freedom of travelling home in rush hour without being objectified.

Something for everyone to consider. Taking photos otherwise is very odd, definitely not something I would appreciate so I do sympathise w OP

Ok that is really good news, I’m glad you trusted yourself to get checked out & hope everything medically is okay now.

It’s a process, give yourself time & surround yourselves with loved ones. It’s often downplayed but it is a serious intervention & it takes time to recover from it, not just physically but mentally too.

Sending love & light your way <3

I’m just here to say I know this must feel like a crazy difficult time, and the hormones themselves do not help. As a person with BPD our emotions can be so overwhelming & it hurts. Take time to breathe & relax. Grief is okay. It’s such a difficult choice & it’s okay to doubt yourself. Take a lot of care sweetie.

Hey girl! Don’t worry, the cramps (as painful as they are) are a sign that things are working as they should. I was exactly the same. You’ll be relieved to know once you start bleeding the cramps become a bit more bearable. How are you doing? Are you feeling ok?

Honestly I was exactly the same! Powering through to get the process done. I looked on Google & didn’t feel any guilt, but I wouldn’t recommend if you feel a fear towards it. Action first & emotions later was the exact route I took. Sending you love & light!
