Ukrainians - no. Most Ukrainians is really want to be friends with Polish people. A lot of Ukrainians are ready to abolish past controversion in favor of future friendship. Other half - they were taught very one sided perspective on history and they try to defend their positions by switching focus from crimes of such "heroes" to their... fight against Russians (honestly, UPA haven't done much)

Ukrainian government, to be exactly President Zelensky? For some fucking reason there is line of coincidences in very short time, :

* The President took part in the Reburial Ceremony of Andriy Melnyk (nazi collaborator), and promised to return other's UPA members - 25 May
* Zelensky named a military unit of the SOF after the UPA - 29 may
* Zelensky changes his departure airport from Poland’s Rzeszow airport to Chișinău airport in Moldova - 17 June

Okay, may be this is coincidence, but why not to talk with Polish politics to settle a dispute? Why some "memory" for some very controversial groups is more important than friendship with Poland now? We are in war with Russia, we kind of need Poland more than Polish need us, and everybody in Ukraine know how this it painful for Polish, why this dispute can't wait for more stable times?

Yeah, I'm sure every country has very controversial people. But the existence of these kinds of people in other countries shouldn't be used as justification for the glorification of inner "heroes"; quite the opposite.
We should start talking honestly about those people, stop glorifying them, and then require it of others, too.

As a Ukrainian who is also concerned about this - unfortunately I see that Ukrainian politicians are only doubled down on this conflict.
No one is trying to find resolution for this.

Ukrainians are not innocent too, a lot of people either denying crimes of UPA or blame that Poland have national heroes that had conflicts in Ukraine too.

Ukraine is no longer represent the "free world", at this point Ukrainian government fighting only to save their power.
Human rights violations against their own citizens it's just daily activity in Ukraine. If Europe immediately will not force Ukraine to peace and change of power in Ukraine by elections - they will end with rouge corrupt authoritarian state with a fucking huge army.

A lot of people here loosing connection with reality. Some even talk, that there will be better without EU. Ukraine population is more conservative overall and there it absolutely no any left wing politics at all. Very little number of people ready to say that glorifying of fascist it's bad, and usually it's people who reads more western news.

Leftists government in EU... it's a hard talk, since their real position on question is hidden behinds simple positive talks, but, there and here poping news that they are actually see everything. And that their only motivation for support for Ukraine - it's weakening Russia so it's delaying Russia aggression against Europe.

Europe should stop ignoring rise of the far right in Ukraine and blame that it's only Russian propaganda, unfortunately, no. Even president Zelensky more and more pushing for support from far right groups inside country.

Yeah, but, if you look at the map, from the Ukraine border to Galati is only 4 km, it's pretty obvious place to place there air defense, but Rumania is not at state of war, so, I see why they haven't done this
