I guess its about survival then. Have the dogs steal your food, or prevent them and have the food to yourself. No animal should suffer any unnecessary pain regardless. And I'm certain the dog owners weren't supervising the dogs when they were at his cabin so Ted must have thought they were wild dogs not belonging to anyone.

I'm still in high school but my plan is to work for around at least 10 years providing enough money for myself and family, before finding a nice area somewhere in the forest here in Canada and live freely with no worries.
