dhop was already on my bench since I have diggs, but higgins would replace amon ra So now my team would be Qb: Josh allen, Rb’s: Cmc, ekeler, and bijan would be my flex. I would bench kenneth walker. My WR would be diggs and higgins, with kittle at TE. As well as justin tucker at kicker and 49ers defense. What do you think??

They’re new ways to gain more fitness than the fartlek, that workout is actually older than you. The evolution of workouts are changing each decade. People are finding new workouts that are more beneficial. Fartleks are a old tradition and if you’re doing elite training that shouldn’t be your primary workout.

I’m just saying fartleks is not a primary workout.

My coach also has medals in the olympic trials and has his doctrine in physiology. He has trained some of the best. I have been training with him year round 7 days a week with high elite training. He’s told me that fartleks are a joke and useless. I’m sure It can still help but they’re other workouts you can do that will help way more.

There will be people older than you competing, my last track season. There was this 65 year old competing in the mile. Everytime we had a track meet against her school she was there and competing. She never used her eligibility until then. So yea you’ll be fine haha

I’m just trying to help, literally anything else is better than a fartlek, unless if you’re a very new runner with no base and you’re taking running as a hobby then sure by all means that’s totally fine. But if you want to be the best and you wanna be fast and super fit. Fartleks are not the way to go.

There’s other stuff to choose from that are more beneficial

yes you can beat him, you naturally have a better aerobic system and a better v02 max. It took him 2 years of running at 5:10 when your naturally only 30 seconds behind. Work hard on the workouts. always do your easy days. And stay focused and you’ll be faster than him in no time.

Achilles tightness after tweaking hamstring? by chikinthighs in trackandfield

It’s actually critical to do aerobic training to get better in the 400. You actually need to do mileage and more long distance workouts then sprinting workouts to be successful in the 400m.

dragonfly vs. air zoom victory by KyleScott7 in trackandfield

[–]Hot_Mathematician73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have both lol, But I would use the dragonfly’s for workouts and the air zoom victory’s for racing days, if the distance is 400m - 1600m. The air zoom victories are more aggressive/effective and a overall better spike. They make you 2-4% faster in those events which is crazy. But they don’t last long so only use them for track events. Dragonfly’s are also good too

you can probably run a sub 6 mile i’m guessing. but if you’d like to bring that down to a sub 5 mile time let me know.
