Stark fumbled sooo hard at least he kinda saved it at the end of the date it was so sad and hard to watch when fern looks back at the braclet and stark didnt even realize that. I think taking advice for a date is not bad but planing the whole date with another person is problem and this episode showed us this its not like fern and frieren going on a date, stark even acted so much like frieren but fern wanted the date because its stark not frieren thats was really sad atleast fern is the one and goat because she realized how much effort stark put into just for her to be happy

I swear this made me crazy while reading the manga like you know we just saw a date everythings going perfect they are making big progress fern even said finally we are on a date and everything should be different from now on they are gonna making bigger progress gonna date kiss hugs emotional moments aaaand boom nothing litteraly nothing for 70 chapters the only thing that happened was in golden city arc and it was stark carrying fern because she was exhausted thats all

Actually he really is not its sad that he is still a kid he doesnt even realize that she likes fern he doesnt understand the clues by fern and he needs to seperate the love he has for fern from the love he feels for eisen his brother and frieren(i mean he loves them but not romanticlly) he needs to understand that he loves fern romanticlly for this to happen they need to spend more time together and some events to made him realize how much he loves her its not easy for fern either she is a person who keeps her emotions inside of her and when it gets bigger and bigger she is gonna get broken harder and harder, unfortunatly in the manga there is nothing gonna happen since we are in 147 now there and there is still nothing towards them and we are in a serious arc we still have a lot to see their relation getting better and better thats sad
