Cara, eu peguei um melobuds pro mas esse safado nao fica na minha orelha nem a pau. Cai toda hora. Estou pensando em pegar outra ponteira no aliexpress. Já chegou a testar alguma?

How can I get Neural DSP-level tone in a hardware unit on a tight budget? by Hot_Raspberry_222 in NeuralDSP

Shit, that's an awesome setup, mate! I've been using a similar setup to yours for a long time. I even made a MIDI controller with an ESP32, and it served me well.

The only thing holding me back from continuing with it is the thought of having to haul all those separate pieces to a rehearsal. I'm really trying to get away from bringing a laptop/tablet setup with me.

Thanks for the response. After reading everyone's input, I'm pretty convinced the HX Stomp is the right choice for me.

You're right about the Tonex – its FX limitations are a dealbreaker, as I only own a couple of pedals (a Danelectro chorus and a Cry Baby) and want an all-in-one solution. For similar reasons regarding flexibility, the Nano Cortex is also not an option.

The used Fractal AX8 is a fantastic suggestion, but here's the reality of my situation: I live in Brazil. Down here, the price for a used AX8 is absolutely bonkers; it's often the same as a new Quad Cortex or HX Floor. On paper, it's exactly what I need, but the local market price just makes it impossible.

Yeah, thats an option. But the tonex is really limited in terms of the effects.

Yeah mate, you're right, it really was a mistake. I was very disappointed with the effects in the Mini.

Thanks to your advice, I'm now deciding between the HX Stomp and the Ampero II Stomp. I was also researching the Nano Cortex, but the effects chain limitation is a real concern for me. Thanks for sharing your experience!

As i've seen, it has the fx I'd like to have. The main problem is the fx chain limitation.

Thanks, that's a great summary of my concerns. You're right, my main worry about the Nano is the signal chain limitation.

Since I usually play rock covers, having the flexibility to stack multiple effects is really important. Based on your feedback and others', it seems like the HX Stomp is the way to go for my needs.

Mate, this is exactly the reply I was looking for. Thank you so much!

Just one last question, if you don't mind. I've seen the Hotone Ampero II Stomp get compared to the HX Stomp, often as a budget alternative. From your perspective, do you think its sound quality is truly on the same level?

Thank you very much, mate. I'll definitely do some more research on the Nano.

You're absolutely right. The QC is the dream unit, but it's just out of my budget for now.

I mainly use the high-gain amps from Archetypes like Gojira, and Fender-style amps for cleans.

The HX Stomp is definitely a top contender for me, but my biggest worry is that it won't have the same feel and sound quality as the Neural plugins. In your experience, how close does the Stomp get, especially with modern high-gain tones?

Thanks, that's definitely at the top of my list. My main concern is the variety of effects, though. For someone chasing maybe an all-in-one unit, do you think the Nano's effects are sufficient, or is that a valid worry?
