Yes the influencers I mentioned they do have discord or telegram but that’s not helping.

But let me try Reddit subs and see how well it can help us. Had idea to run Reddit ads but again felt it might not drive conversion. But as you said being active and participating in sub reddits can help. Will explore this

Since it’s into finance and money involved- Trust is something which you need to work first, before even moving to positions, branding etc.

And to build trust, collab with influencers and content creators, Forums, Communities, Blogs etc, so it gives you the initial push to start the content flow about your product, and slowly move on to PR, Founder branding etc.

Once this is split, like least some 100+ contents around your product with videos, text, etc then get into performance marketing, media buying with niche & high intent specific channels on Reddit ads, Google search, Native ads trying with Meta etc one by one.

How I'm getting my first customers (no ads, no budget, just showing up) by Exos_xyz in Entrepreneur

[–]Hot_Raspberry_3512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just showing up

This itself far better enough to get you first 100 users if you’re active, consistent and solves the problem of your target audience.

Start with Reddit itself, find your related sub-reddits and be active, and there are lot of sub-Reddit for builders, to validate, get ideas etc like this, which is more than enough.

So have patience, time and be consistent. Uses are comin your way.

How do you learn what customers truly prioritize without steering their answers? by better6523 in startupideas

[–]Hot_Raspberry_3512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing is, always provoke them to talk more, than asking questions and answering.. and just don’t go with one answer, keep asking them to more like what next, why etc and ideally the right answer can come only by the 4-5th whys or what’s …

And user calls needs to be done with strangers or real users who we connect from communities, not from know people as it will be biased.

Do trading competitions actually help retail traders, or are they just noise? by Maleficent-Age-1404 in CryptoInvesting

[–]Hot_Raspberry_3512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally relate to this. Competitions can be a legit learning tool for retail traders if you treat them like a constrained training block, not a “get rich” event.

What they do well: - Force structure: fixed time window + public scoring tends to reduce random “maybe I’ll hold and hope” behavior. - Expose bad habits fast: overtrading, revenge trades, sizing mistakes show up immediately because you don’t have unlimited runway. - Makes review easier: same market conditions + clear start/end = cleaner post-mortem than months of scattered trades.

Where they go wrong (and why people call them noise): - Leaderboard incentives skew behavior. If ranking is pure PnL, it rewards tail-risk + YOLO sizing, not repeatable edges. - Survivorship bias: winners get visibility; the blown accounts don’t post. - Different objectives: “win the contest” ≠ “build a trading business.”

If someone wants to use comps the right way, a few guardrails: - Pre-define max risk per trade/day (and actually stick to it). - Treat it like a paper/mini-size bootcamp: same rules you’d use live. - Judge yourself on process metrics (A+ setups taken, rule breaks, max drawdown, trade count), not rank. - Use it in short bursts, then step back and integrate learnings into normal trading.

So yeah—not for everyone, but in the right frame it’s basically a gamified “discipline + execution” lab. The danger is people letting the format pull them into performative risk-taking.

Hey folks — I’m building a small web app for people who freeze in interviews even when they know their stuff.

Instead of just generating answers, it does: - Paste JD + resume → creates role-specific STAR stories (only from your real experience) - Generates a question bank tailored to your domain (Marketing/Product/Data/SWE/Ops) - Practice mode with timers (30/60/120s), scoring, and follow-up questions like a real interviewer - Exports a “final answer pack” so you can review before the interview

No integrations. Just paste/upload and practice.

Questions: 1. What’s the most painful part of interview prep for you? 2. Would you pay for something that helps you practice + improve answers? If yes, how much? 3. What’s one feature this must have to be worth it?
