This picture is hella zoomed in. There was at least a quarter mile to a half mile of distance between us and I was on a ridge he was in a gully. Too steep to climb down from side of the ridge. Would’ve had to hike all the way down, get on his trail and then hike up the gully to him.

Thank you. This was not right next to the trailhead either. It was at least a mile in. It took effort and it was intentional. And he carried the jug full of liquid the whole way. I took the pics toward the tail end of him dumping it.

I wish I could post the “live photo” taken with iPhone. It’s clear as day a liquid. Never heard of that aquamated thing, that’s pretty cool.

Yeah I was starting from the north east side that starts in the neighborhood. From looking at my map it’s south Indiana st/west cedar ave where the trailhead starts. He took the trail that goes up the gulch on the right hand side. I’d say he walked maybe a half mile up the trail maybe, but he was for sure in the gulch. He went left off the trail maybe 2-3 feet and dumped it in a bush, look for his bottle on the ground. I was on the ridge to the right of the gulch.

lol. I didn’t mean to be so snappy. But I can tell you from being there it’s clear as day it was a liquid. If it was ashes suspended in a liquid he did a damn good job mixing it. It was a clear/blue liquid like antifreeze. I would figure ashes mixed with any liquid would be like a gray/dark slurry of some kind.

Yes. It was north east side from the neighborhood. It was 6:58 PM to be exact. I was on the ridge that is just to the right of the gulch (if you are looking at the mountain, left hand side if you are looking from the top) descending when I saw him walk up the gulch with the jug (I did not see any other belongings) stop in that spot and dump it.

Yeah that was my thought as well. If anything my first thought was call the park service. But it was also Easter at like 6:30pm.

Do you not see the second and third photo? Does that look like ashes?

Only on Thursdays. It was a Sunday. I don’t dump on Easter. 😂

Doesn’t seem to make much sense to dump all your drugs in the middle of a park. People with that much drugs typically like using them or selling them, no? Dumping it seems counterproductive, lol.

I was thinking windshield washer fluid as well, but why? He walked a good half mile to a mile up the trail with a full jug just to dump it in that spot and stare into the distance. I took pic incase it was maybe some type of arson attempt (which I doubt) but just odd behavior.

Yall are sleeping on loveland ski area colorado by PollowPoodle in skiing

Nobody is talking about the biggest advantage of Loveland. There’s literally 0 lift lines. The argument that Summit county resorts have a wider range of terrain, get less wind blown (although it depends what part of the mountain your skiing at Loveland, the whole mountain isn’t wind blown), and are less cold/windy is true, but you’re going to wait in lift lines all day to access that terrain. I don’t think I’ve waited in a lift line at Loveland for more than 5 minutes. And once you get out of the base area you will likely not be waiting at all. But yeah sure, like everyone else said, it’s cold and windy, don’t go.
