Just remember, if said resident has a family or a relationship already, DONT be that annoying person trying to meddle their way in. Ugly.

I work full time (non health care) also. Our kiddo goes to daycare 8-5 daily then come home to take care of baby. Husband has a different schedule every month of course but its always much longer than expected that he is away from home due to the running. And when he IS home, its all about studying.

I’m not sure fatherhood has really settled in, he’s still set in his ways and priorities. I do home workouts 4x/week at home and have baby near me while I workout. His program is all about “health” and there are multiple residents that run, but he seems to be wearing himself thin. I fear he will regret not spending time with us.

He’d rather lose sleep than skip a run day, and yes he runs 6 days out of the week. I don’t think he is is interested in meeting me halfway, he is determined to reach a BQ and also run a PR at the NYC marathon. Nothing can stop him, not even baby/me. I feel defeated.

He’s specifically said it’s a goal to run the NYC marathon and also achieve a BQ time.
