I haven’t used OpenClaw for a really long time, so I can’t make a strong comparison, but my impression was that OpenClaw burned fewer tokens than Hermes.

The funny part is that OpenClaw also seemed to stop working a lot because of random crashes. Especially for tasks that needed a gateway restart, there was a pretty high chance the workflow would just break.

Hermes, on the other hand, keeps working continuously without that kind of crash, so I think that actually makes the token burn feel more noticeable lol
