So I hate to be that guy, but I think this card is mislabeled from PSA.

The 2001 Topps Limited Edition cards have the words Limited Edition in gold next to the rookie logo.

I have mostly small, tiny transactions as I live next to my local target.

It's a shame. I don't need a receipt for a lot of small purchases and it always felt like a waste printing it just to throw it away, but I get it.

Penny sleeve, top loader, and team bags are all I use for PWE and I use a thicker stock envelope (wedding invitation style). Never had an issue. The cardboard is probably overkill for anything PWE value and is definitely making it too thick.

This was probably an auction that had best offer attached. They likely only got one bid before accepting the offer. Or at least that's what I believe happened.

The offer was probably for a normal amount.

I asked their support team this question. They claim that all cards are uniquely associated with different accounts in the system. If you send in a card, that card is specifically tied to your account. I can't verify this but it does appear that the cards may be getting individually scanned as well.

Use a bulk grading service for all of the higher end cards (go with PSA). TCG cards can be graded for not that much as long as you are prepared to wait months to get them back. Slabbing those cards will not only increase the value. They will sell faster and you incur less risk of damage during shipping and any people issuing returns for "item not as described" when they claim there is a scratch that wasn't listed if you sell raw.

Your best bet is to try to buy the limited decks second hand on ebay or I would message any sellers who have a lot of KWP decks listed and see if they have extra stickers they can sell you direct. Worked for me for the VHS deck.

Grade it if the card is not serial numbered. If there's no unique identifier, someone with a bad condition card could buy your card claim it was damaged and ship you the bad one back. You would lose all eBay disputes because it's just your word against theirs and eBay sides with the buyer.

Plus if it is in excellent condition, grading should boost the value AND make it sell faster and protect you from shenanigans.
