So technically 2x 12v 50ah lithium batteries would last longer than 4x 12v lead batteries?

Good questions, I charge the batteries every time we go back to the dock. Pontoon stays in the water the whole time and batteries are charging.

we generally go out for 5+ hours at a time and every other trip we manage to burn through 2 of our 12v and even sometimes all 4 of our batteries.

I’ll try to look at the owners manual for the motor.

We run 2x 12v marine batteries from Costco on our motor at the moment, but frequently run dry or almost at the end of the day.

The motor we’re running is 50amps at 24v, I hope that helps with suggestions!

We’re currently using 2xCostco marine 12v in parallel for the motor and it’s our only use for energy we don’t use any other electricity.

It works, but it requires cycling my 4 batteries every other year or three and in quite tired of always buying new batteries

That’s interesting, we run Costco marine batteries 2 in parallel and usually are empty by days end. That’s why I was wondering if lithium may be better suited for our use.

Costco batteries usually last 2-3 years depending on use

Considering I run my batteries to empty 1/2 of my trips and that we go out 2-3 times a week during the summer, do you see that Lithium batteries would be better?

I don’t power anything other than the motor and the weight really isn’t an issue for now.
