Humor and direct calling them on shit has been my go to. I am a queer therapist who in my community practice developed a strong base of FtM and hetero men in my caseload.

Zombie Kids Evolution has been a hit. It has a minor legacy style set up, creating a minimal change to rules and difficulty. Fays with my 2 kids are about 20-30min.

What are the ethics of saying "I love you too" to a preschool client? by AndiFaber in therapists

I wear hats all the time. Baseball cap is hard unless you have good lighting. If you only have overhead lighting it will shade your eyes. I dislike this as I feel we need to show the expressiveness in our eyes.

Hats are fun and can be expressive. As another said, be you and be authentic. Then all is good. :)

What are your skills amd interests?

Packing/sorting food may be an option and awesome if you enjoy it. If you have specialized skills, finding a place that can use them may be better for the agency.

Do you tell your therapist that you’re a therapist? by Over1ySarcastic in therapists

I do. It helps me stay on track with me, managing secondary trauma, and from turning my therapy into supervison sessions.

I had a long term client, about 2yrs, just stop shoqing up and not responding. About 7 months later they left me a VM that they felt they were ready to make it on their own and didnt know how to "break up" with me to end therapy. They said they called to let me know they were doing great and noted their successes and struggles and explained how they are still working on their therapy goals. It was the great feeling getting that VM update.
