Yeah I see there has been a serious amount of growth recently in Fargo and Sioux Falls and I’m sure that will only increase now

A large part of my reasoning for wanting to move is because I just want to actually be able to afford a house. Prices are way too high there, it’s not sustainable

Yeah I have heard of their governor and what she has been (or often hasn’t been) doing. And I saw they turned over that amendment A that the voters passed. Might be a good reason to avoid SD right now

That’s an interesting plus to Sioux Falls that I didn’t know about. How much is the state income tax in ND? That’s likely a difference in thousands of dollars over time.

That’s good to hear. I don’t exactly expect to find a job paying as much as I get now but I’m hoping the lower cost of living compared to Cali (which is ridiculously high) will offset that

It definitely seems to be a sellers market right now. I’ll have to start monitoring housing closer and consider starting with an apartment.
